Section 8: Closed
Welcome to the City of Tallulah Section 8 Program online application page! In order to participate in the program operated by the City of Tallulah- Section 8 (COT-S8), you must complete an application and provide all of the requested verification items.

All applicants will be required to provide social security cards and birth certificates for all household members.  Income verifications for wages, social security, unemployment, TANF, child support, pension, etc. are required for all household income. All assets, such as checking and savings accounts, investments, real estate, etc., will need to be verified.  COT-S8 will also review rental history and criminal history of household members.

Once the initial online application is completed and your name has risen to the top of our waiting list, you will be contacted by COT-S8 staff with an appointment to bring in the necessary verification and sign all applicable release forms.  All adult members (18 years and older) must attend the application appointment and submit a report of arrests/outstanding warrants, police & sheriff reports AFTER financial eligibility screening. Please understand that an appointment letter does not guarantee your acceptance into our housing program. Your acceptance is contingent on your financial eligibility, our available funding and your suitability as tenants.

You no longer have to contact the office to check your status on the waiting list once you have registered, you will have the option of checking your position. Get My Position.

Our waiting lists are closed.
